In this example of HLSS, the third harmonic of the radiation produced in the first undulator section is equal to the fundamental wavelength for the second undulator section. For the K range corresponding to the wavelength range from 1 nm to 5 nm in the SASE mode, HLSS is operational from 1 nm to 1.67 nm. It can enhance the peak brilliance up to 1.7 times. |
