Unit-cell parameters of β- and α-Ba(OD)2 with temperature. Unit-cell axes are given in Å, volumes in Å3. A clear discontinuity between 100 and 150 K indicates the α-to-αm phase transition. Appropriate axes designations are given for the high-temperature α phase versus the low-temperature αm phase.
