(b) Increasing the symmetry from 2 to 4 maintains the topology of the trivinylsilyl arms. (c) Increasing the symmetry to 4/m requires significant distortion so that the upper and lower arms overlay. (d) Increasing the symmetry to [\bar 4] requires a change in arm topology, with alternate upper arms rotated in opposite directions.
