Structures of XOLSIB, Dy2(C14H11N3O3)2(NO3)2(MeOH)2 (top), and VOLSAR, tBuN=Nb(OiPr)(C29H40N2) (bottom). In both structures, the metal atoms appear to be bonded to alkoxide ligands (shown in ball-and-stick style). In the former, however, the ligand is actually unionized methanol, the alcoholic H atom having not been located.
