Expression test of a set of 24 extracellular constructs produced by small-scale transfection. Western blot analysis of 3 d conditioned media revealed that 18 out of the 24 constructs tested (which vary in size, glycosylation state and domain composition) can be detected. The detection threshold corresponds to approximately 1 mg l−1 protein of interest in the conditioned medium. Molecular-weight markers values are in kDa. |
