The optical subsystem of an X-ray CCD detector based on the direct coupling of the fiber-optic taper to the CCD chip. The arrows indicate the impinging parallel light. The grid mask of known size attached to the surface of the fiber-optic taper is used for the precise correction of local distortions in the presented algorithm. For better visibility, the number of grid points has been reduced. The typical coverage is 150 × 150 grid points for a 90 mm-diameter taper with hole sizes of about 150 µm. |
