A computer-aided design drawing (semi-transparent) of the all-ceramic monobloc heating core. Four holes in the monobloc accommodate the heating rods. Inside the monobloc is a cavity which hosts the crystal specimen. The incident X-ray beam enters through a hole with a diameter of 2 mm into the central cavity. The conical opening on the other side allows the exit of the scattered X-ray beams.
