Schematic representation of the solution and self-assembly behavior of the MPEG-PNIPAAM-PSSS(−) and MPEG-PNIPAAM-PN(+) copolymers in aqueous solution. Self-assembled structures are observed for the copolymers containing the medium and large temperature-sensitive blocks. The copolymers with the medium length of PNIPAAM forms spherical micelles, whereas the large length PNIPAAM forms cylindrical micelles.
