Calculated strains perpendicular to different {hkl} planes of a {111} fibre-textured specimen which is uniaxially loaded by 1 GPa in a random in-plane direction, using the Eshelby–Kröner model and an appropriate orientation distribution function with FWHM = 10° for the pole at Ψ = 0°. The sin2Ψ plot is evidently not linear.
