Simulated absorption corrections with constant triangle height μh = 0.25 and varying slope angle δ. The inset shows that the material fraction over the depth does not change for these five models. Nevertheless, due to the change in slope length with the angle the minimum shifts to smaller values with decreasing slope angle. The lines through the simulated data points serve as a guide to the eye.
