The polymeric chains, represented as monomeric mol­ecules in this projection, and lattice water mol­ecules are connected by O—H⋯O and O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds (represented by dotted lines) within the network. The polymeric chains are additionally assembled by π–π inter­actions between symmetry-related 6-fluoro­nicotinate pyridine rings.
