All of the helices and strands are numbered according to their order of occurrence from the N-terminus of the protein subunit. Helices are shown in dark blue, β-strands in light blue and most loops in green. The loop in red between β8 and β9 (247NENNQ251) makes interdimer contacts (see §[link]3 and Fig. 7[link]). The loop in black between β1 and β2 (84GEFILKSKRKSN95) forms a `hood' that is expected to wrap around the substrates (see §[link]3 and Fig. 6[link])
