Comparison of the second domain of the X-ray (a) and cryo-EM (b) models. The structures are in cartoon representation and are colored in a rainbow; the order of helices in the model is indicated, as is the location of the C-terminus of the domain. While their overall shape is similar, the color distribution is different and is indicative of different connectivity. The α6 helix in the X-ray model is interrupted by a short loop, which is well defined in the electron density.
