In cases where there are more than one name in use for an enzyme
or other protein, use the nomenclature recommended by IUPAC and,
optionally, mention the other name(s) the enzyme is known by.
Example: The enzyme IUPAC recommends be named
porphobilinogen synthase (EC 4.2.1.24), commonly abbreviated
PBGS, is also known as aminolevulinic acid dehydratase and
abbreviated ALAD.
