Raw scattering data frame collected at an SDD of 241 mm with a 15.9 keV X-ray beam on BM01 at ESRF, showing large halos around the strong Bragg reflections at the top left and the masked frame at the top right. The reconstructions of the hk0.8 layer before and after masking are shown at the bottom left and bottom right, respectively. The thin streaks penetrating the diffuse rings in the bottom left reconstruction are the results of the halos. The arrows on the bottom right reconstruction indicate the removal of the streaks as a result of masking. Note that the double streaks passing through the diffuse rings are a result of redundant measurements, which led to the filling of the masked regions.
