The isolated peak functions are obtained from the ratios (also dashed black and red lines, but shifted down). In the case of bulk scattering this ratio is obtained from the hypergeometric function in equation (1)[link]. In contrast, the surface scattering does not find an easily separable factor in the current formulation.
