Experimental and calculated scattering intensity for sample S3 (54% RH, non-equilibrium conditions). Compared with the profiles for S2, deviations are observed in the junction region and in the width of basal reflections. These features are reproduced by introducing a non-stationary state distribution and increased spacing disorder, consistent with a kinetically evolving stacking structure.
