Normalization for pixel efficiency [∊det(E)/∊mon(E)] makes a significant improvement in the dispersion between spectra. However, significant dispersion and variance remain in the pre-edge region and increase at higher energies. Furthermore, the spectral trend with energy is not in agreement with the transmission data (Fig. 2). Typical applications of this limited approach pin spectra at the edge or pre-edge and diverge away from this empirical pin. This methodology is not sufficient for high-accuracy data analysis. |
