The stereographic nets presented in this article are the stereographic projections of the net of meridians and parallels of a sphere when it turns by steps of 5° round an axis located in the plane of projection. These nets provide a means to avoid the many constructions necessary to interpret a pole figure when only the Wulff net is used. They also make the determination of the fibre axes of a texture easier, and give, by simple reading, the angles between one pole and any other pole of a given pole figure.
