The title compound [Zr(C5H5)2(C6H5)2] has two cyclopentadienyl and two phenyl ligands arranged in a distorted tetrahedral geometry around Zr. Steric interactions produce an opening of the Cp-Zr-Cp angle to 131.7 (1)° and a tilting of both phenyl rings in their own planes about the Zr-C bonds by several degrees.
