The structure of lithium trithioarsenite(3-) consists of AsS₃ pyramids; all S atoms are non-bridging. Li atoms are involved in LiS₄ tetrahedra and LiS_3 + 2 distorded trigonal bipyramids. The tetrahedra are linked together via corners. This structure appears to be a new member of the M₃AX₃ group of compounds.
