The crystal structures of solid pyrrole, C4H5N, and 1,2,3-triazole, C2H3N3, are described. Pyrrole shows a N—H
π interaction between neighbouring molecules whereas 1,2,3-triazole is found to crystallize as a 1:1 molecular complex of its two possible tautomers, 1H-1,2,3-triazole and 2H-1,2,3-triazole, linked by an N—H
N hydrogen bond.
