The title compound, diphenylsulfoximidium hydrogen sulfate, (C12H12NOS)+.HSO4-, was formed as a hydrolysis product during recrystallization of the product of the reaction of Ph2SO with (NSCl)3. Hydrogen-bonded networks link cation and anion, the latter forming a hydrogen-bonded dimer.
