(2S,3R,5S)-3-Hydroxy-2-methyl-5-(1-methylethenyl)cyclohexanone 0.12-Diethyl Ether Solvate

The six-membered ring of the title compound, C₁₀H₁₆O₂. 0.12C₄H₁₀O, exhibits a chair conformation with the hydroxy, methyl and isopropenyl groups in equatorial positions. In the crystal, hydrogen bonds join the molecules into one-dimensional cooperative chains with the O atoms of the hydroxy groups acting as donors and acceptors. The empty space between these chains is occupied with disordered diethyl ether molecules from the solvent.
