Crystals of sodium hexanitroruthenate(II) monohydrate, Na₄[Ru(NO₂)₆].H₂O, are composed of [Ru(NO₂)₆]^4- complex anions, Na⁺ cations and water molecules. The structure is compared with those of other hexanitroruthenate(II) complexes.
