The structure of the pyrochlore Y2Ru2O7 was determined by Rietveld analysis of
time-of-flight neutron powder diffraction data. Each Ru atom has a nearly regular octahedral
coordination environment whereas each Y atom has
distorted eightfold coordination geometry.
