In the title compound, C14H16O3, enantiomeric pairs of molecules form dimers by mutual hydrogen bonding of carboxyl groups, with the ketone group not involved in the hydrogen bonding. The components of the dimer differ in conformation, so that the dimer is the asymmetric unit.
