The azapurine base in the title compound, C₂₀H₂₅N₅O₁₁, has a slight butterfly shape, with a 4.0 (3)° interplanar angle between the five-membered triazolo ring and the six-membered pyrimidine ring. The -D-xylopyranosyl ring has the usual ⁴C₁ conformation.
