The inset shows the same spectrum recorded using the CCD camera (D-XAS), indicating that energy resolution is comparable. (b) Pt LIII XANES recorded using x = 0.5 and σ = 30, 50, 70, 100 and 120 µm. Degradation in energy resolution is visible for σ > 50 µm, in agreement with equation (4)[link].
