View along the 101 direction of the bis-urea crystal with the 010 direction vertical. This view clearly depicts the parallel arrangement of the carbonyls as well as the alternating alignment of the phenyl rings within the crystal. Note that, for discussion purposes only, two electric vectors (Ev and Eh) are shown. In the STXM measurements one polarization of the X-rays was used, with two orientations of the crystal.
