Rendered images of three-dimensional X-ray fluorescence emission distribution from the artificial diamond. (a) Front view (y–z), (b) side view (x–y) and (c) top view (z–x). The three-dimensional data set consists of 350 cross-sectional images as shown in Fig. 3[link]. The exposure time of each cross-sectional image was 8 s. The translation scan pitch of the sample was 2 mm. The voxel size is 2 mm × 2 mm × 2 mm, and the number of voxels is 350 (x) × 512 (y) × 512 (z). The total measurement time was ∼75 min.
