The theory of the interferogram is plotted with the solid line using equation (14)[link]. L = 24.5 m, D = 12 km, d = 1.3 cm. The half slit width a is 1.5 mm. The inset shows the source distributions. The standard deviation of the Gaussian source distribution (dots) is 210 µm and the region from x = −630 µm to x = 630 µm is used in this numerical study. The uniformly distributed source (solid line) has a FWHM of 672 µm.
