The q-dependent quotient C(q) = Juncorr(−q)/Juncorr(+q) = η(−q)/η(+q) of the analysers local quantum efficiency η(q). The local dip in η(q) centred at q = 1.415 p0 is extracted by fitting a gross third-order polynomial plus a local Gaussian function to C(q) and making use of the absence of a local glitch in η(q) around q = −1.415 p0. The dash-dotted line shows the resulting local η(q) (right-hand scale), which Juncorr(q) is then corrected for.
