Raman spectra of a Zn2+ insulin crystal. Raman spectra were taken at Ω = 130° (red) and 167° (black) where Ω = 0° is defined as one of the angles at which the flat face of the crystal is orthogonal to the Raman objective. The spectra were collected using 6 mW of 532 nm laser excitation and 50 s total acquisition time. Peaks assignments are based on Yu et al. (1972BB21).
