The gray (red online) curve is the numerical fit obtained by the simulation of Fresnel propagation of the complex projected thickness of the sample T(y) onto the distance (250 mm from the sample) where the first diffractor is located. Imax and Imin indicate the maximum and the minimum intensity of the main diffraction peak.
