A minimal timing diagram for an experiment using the Keck-PAD and single-bunch imaging is shown. Imaging with the Keck-PAD detector needs signals from both the synchrotron and the experimental setup to capture relevant data. A synchrotron sync signal provides information about the arrival time of X-ray pulses. In practice, a phase correction, tphase, needs to be applied to capture bunches. At least one experimental trigger is also required, indicating that the dynamic process under investigation has been initiated, and that after some delay, td1, imaging should proceed with the next bunch.
