(a) Schematic view of the high-heat-load monochromator (HHLM). (b) Dynamical theory calculations of the spectral distribution of X-rays around the nominal photon energy E0 = 9.13185 keV after two successive (115) Bragg reflections from diamond. The spectral bandwidth of the transmitted X-rays is 26.5 meV with a peak reflectivity of 97.7%. The angular spread of the incident X-rays is [\Delta\theta_{\rm{inc}}] = 1 µrad.
