Particle size distribution of a sample immersed in de­oxy­genated UPW for 5 min containing 100 p.p.b. Cu as measured using AFM. The scan area of the sample was 20 µm × 20 µm. As can be seen the mean particle height of 16.6 nm agrees well with fits performed on fluorescence signal versus angle measurements.
