Implementation of the SAXS cylindrical sample geometry in RADDOSE-3D given a defined diameter, d, and height, h. (a) Evenly spaced points around a circle are generated given the radius, r = d/2, of the circular cross section. RADDOSE-3D defaults to 32 points. (b) In three dimensions the points represent the circles at each end of the cylinder at a distance of h/2 from the origin located at the centre of the cylinder.
