Energy resolution (FWHM) at 59.5 keV (241Am source) versus the bias voltage at room temperature for both detectors, at high ICR (1 Mcounts s−1). The slow PSHA with ST = 4 µs was used. The optimal bias voltages are greater than the optimal bias voltages obtained at low rates (Fig. 7[link]). This is due to the effects of the high-flux radiation-induced polarization phenomena, producing a degradation of the electric field within the detectors.
