Schematic layout of the instrumentation in the end-station at beamline BL16B1. The SX165 detector can be used both for SAXS and WAXS detection by placing the sample before and after the downstream tube, respectively. The Pilatus 200K detector can also be used for WAXS but more frequently for simultaneous 2D SAXS/WAXS measurement. 2θ is the scattering angle, ΔΩ is the unit solid angle centered on an arbitrary scattering direction associated with q, L is the distance between the sample and detector and r is the distance from the pixel to the direct beam center.
