Time course of PCI of CO2 microbubbles at the same position in a plastic straw. The times after CO2 microbubbles production are shown on the left. Panels (b), (d) and (f) are magnified images of the regions in the black boxes in (a), (c) and (e), respectively. Note that CO2 microbubbles gradually dissolve, and the remaining CO2 microbubbles become larger. The images were obtained at an energy of 19 keV, the pixel size was 3.25 µm × 3.25 µm, the exposure time was 1 s and the SDD was 30 cm.
