(a) Schematic view of the optical setup for the OES measurements. The light is collected from the region between dotted lines by a collimator of 0.5 mm diameter, and focused onto the entrance face of an optical fiber, its other end connected to the spectrometer. The collimator is mounted on a movable table so that it is possible to scan along the Y direction. The X-ray beam crosses the attenuator in the Z direction and is represented by the central red circle. The whole setup is placed around the `measurement position' shown in Fig. 1(b).
