A RIXS map demonstrating the evolution of the inelastic spectra while scanning the incident energy across the Co edge. All the spectra shown represent a sum of (up to) 12 Gaussian functions. Upon convolution with the reference spectrum in Fig. 2[link], these RIXS spectra represent the best fits to the measured photoelectron spectra.
