The distribution [P({\bf{B}}^{\rm{tot}})] [the column-bar graph in (a)] is calculated for the case when [{\bf{B}}_{\rm{hf}}^{(i)}] is oriented at a mean angle of 135° relative the direction of [{\bf{H}}^{\rm{ext}}] with a Gaussian angular distribution of ±20° [two fans of the solid black arrows in (b)]. For comparison, the solid vertical line in (a) shows the single-line distribution [P({\bf{B}}^{\rm{tot}})] for the case [{\bf{H}}^{\rm{ext}}] = 0 and [{\bf{B}}^{\rm{tot}}] = [|{\bf{B}}_{\rm{hf}}|]. The dashed vertical line in (a) is the single-line distribution [P({\bf{B}}^{\rm{tot}})] for the case where all [{\bf{B}}_{\rm{hf}}^{(i)}] = [{\bf{B}}_{\rm{hf}}] (ferro) are aligned antiparallel to [{\bf{H}}^{\rm{ext}}] = [0.05|{\bf{B}}_{\rm{hf}}|] and [{\bf{B}}^{\rm{tot}}] = [0.95|{\bf{B}}_{\rm{hf}}|].
