Molecular structure of PtPOP and relevant angles. PtPOP is a symmetric top molecule with the main axis of symmetry parallel to the Pt–Pt axis (Zipp, 1988; Gray et al., 2017). In the molecular fixed frame (black arrows): is the angle between the internuclear displacement and the transition dipole moment of the molecule, which is parallel to the main axis of symmetry of the molecule.
