At the top a comparison on a logarithmic scale of the measured TEY spectrum η (filled circles) and the term hν/2∊ (lines) for different values of ∊. With increasing mean energy ∊ the two terms become more and more of similar magnitude. At the bottom the correction term f = 1/(hν/2∊ − η) in equation (7c) is shown as a function of photon energy E = hν. It may be noted that inspite of a constant ∊ the correction term is energy-dependent and that the correction is most pronounced in the resonance region. |
