MGD (circles) and MGDt (triangles) as a function of the height of the irradiated volume, resulting from a Monte Carlo simulation of a cylindrical breast phantom (50% glandular fraction) with a diameter of 10 cm and a height of 7.5 cm, and a beam energy of 32 keV. MGD converges to MGDt upon irradiation of the whole phantom (Mettivier et al., 2016BB42).
