The polarization-dependent experimental π* peak intensities (dots) can be mathematically described when for each sample a specific average molecular tilt angle γ is considered. The high-temperature samples show similar behaviour with γ = 66.7° and 68.7°, whereas for T = 30°C the average tilt angle γ = 60.6° is lower and close to the magic angle γmagic = 54.74° with θ independent intensity.
