Figure 2
Functional scheme of data acquisition and control system. Vacuum components and stepper motors are controlled via Beckhoff terminals. Voltages for drift-tube segments [A B C D], detectors, amplifiers and Helmholtz coils are supplied via an MPOD crate. The detector signal is, after amplification, read by digitizers in a µTCA crate. The presented plot is a typical single-pulse spectrum where the first peak is the prompt from scattered light and the following peak is from photoelectrons. The rack containing all the electronics is remotely operated via the Karabo control system which is an environment designed for hardware control and data acquisition. |
